Terms of Service
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Lual mobile application and related services (the “Service”). By creating an account or using Lual, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
1. The Service
Lual helps people share availability and coordinate plans with friends and groups. Features may include calendar events, AI-assisted schedule import, groups, plan requests, notifications, and optional device integrations (such as contacts or device calendars).
2. Eligibility & accounts
- You must be at least 13 years old to use Lual.
- You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping sign-in credentials secure.
- Provide accurate information and keep your profile reasonably up to date.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Harass, threaten, stalk, or abuse other users
- Post or share illegal, hateful, pornographic, or otherwise objectionable content
- Impersonate others or misrepresent your identity
- Attempt to access another user’s data without authorization, scrape the Service, or interfere with its operation
- Use the Service to spam, phish, or distribute malware
- Reverse engineer or misuse AI features in ways that violate law or third-party rights
We may remove content, limit features, or suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or create risk for other users.
4. User content & moderation
You retain ownership of content you submit (such as events, group names/images, and messages associated with plans). You grant us a limited license to host, process, and display that content as needed to operate the Service.
Lual includes reporting and blocking tools. We review reports and may take action at our discretion. Contact support@lual.app if you need help.
5. AI schedule import
AI parsing can misread dates, times, or titles. Draft events are shown for your review before they become part of your calendar. You are responsible for checking and correcting imported events. Do not submit photos or text containing sensitive information you do not want processed by our providers.
6. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy describes how we handle personal information, including the default busy/free visibility of your calendar to friends.
7. Third-party services
Sign-in is provided through Apple and/or Google. Parts of the Service rely on infrastructure and AI providers (including Supabase and Google Gemini). Their terms and policies also apply to their processing.
8. Lual Premium subscriptions
Lual Premium is an optional auto-renewable subscription that unlocks extra color themes, custom plan cards, voice notes on plans, and home-screen widget customization. Core calendar, friends, groups, and planning features remain available without a subscription.
US pricing (other storefronts may differ; the price shown in the app is the amount charged):
- Monthly: USD $2.99, billed every month
- Annual: USD $29.99, billed every year
Payment is charged to your Apple ID or Google Play account at confirmation of purchase. The subscription renews automatically unless you turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel the subscription in your device’s subscription settings (iOS: Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions; Android: Google Play → Payments & subscriptions). Unused portions of a free trial, if offered, are forfeited when you purchase a subscription.
If you previously bought Lual Premium as a one-time unlock, that purchase continues to grant Premium access; you do not need to subscribe. Restoring purchases on a new device re-applies any active subscription or prior lifetime purchase on the same store account.

9. Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR THAT AVAILABILITY INFORMATION WILL ALWAYS BE COMPLETE OR ACCURATE.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Lual and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of (a) the amounts you paid us (if any) in the 12 months before the claim or (b) USD $50.
11. Termination
You may stop using Lual and delete your account in the app at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms, if required by law, or if we discontinue the Service.
12. Changes
We may update these Terms by posting a revised version here. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the changes. If you do not agree, stop using the Service and delete your account.
